I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas and has been enjoying the holiday season with friends and family! I'm already halfway through my vacation at home visiting family and friends, and of course, doing some tax-free shopping aka it's been non-stop awesomeness. This post is long overdue as this was the outfit I wore to my work's holiday party a few Friday's ago. I decided to steer clear of the usual party dresses and try out a pair of sparkly shorts with some new jewelry I picked up at Urban Outfitters. Going the shorts route was probably the most comfortable choice I could've made. No need to worry about flashing anyone or sucking in my beer belly when I hit the dance floor!
As you can see I'm still really into the whole Gatsby headband look. There are so many sparkly headbands on the market right now I just couldn't resist! I'm currently debating about repeating this outfit for New Year's Eve sans the fuzzy sweater because that's how much I love this look. It's a great alternative to complicated dresses and usually less expensive, too! How do you feel about dressed up shorts? Would you wear them for a special event/New Year's Eve or stick with you're go-to party dress?
