UDRESS Magazine's 6th Annual Fall Fashion Event Recap

UDRESS Magazine, the student-run fashion magazine at the University of Delaware hosted its 6th Annual FFE two Saturdays ago. So, yes I'm a little behind in posting this (hey, better late then never right?) but see some photos from the night and read my full recap on College Fashionista! Here's a few more photos that I snapped that as well!

Site Seeing: Bakers Shoe's Shoeternity Blog

I discovered Shoeternity.com this past summer on a hunt for new blogs and inspirational content, but Shoeternity was that and so much more! Shoeternity is a community site run by Bakers Shoes devoted to street style photos that are uploaded by stylish customers and fans from all over. How it works is after you make an account, you can begin uploading street style photos of yourself and start the voting process. If you win Look of the Day you are then in the running for Look of the Week. That's important because the winner of Look of the Week gets a nice little present... FREE Bakers shoes!

I definitely encourage any street style lovers to check out this site and upload your own photos for a chance to win. After you've made your Shoeternity account, check out their blog because I just did a guest post for them on what to wear for Thanksgiving Day!

Daily Inspiration: Free People's 2011 Holiday Catalog

photo: flickr.com
"Through the Decades" was the theme for Free People's November catalog that I just snatched up from my parent's house. My favorite spread by a landslide was their shoot inspired by Paris in the 1920s--a glamourous fashion decade on all continents, in my opinion. Free people's looks are spot on and make me lust to have been born in an earlier time. Have a look for yourself!

Marie Claire Front Row Challenge At Delaware!

Tonight was probably one of the most fashionable moments in the history of the University of Delaware. NINA GARCIA WAS IN THE BUILDING and she is just as fabulous in the person as she is on TV and in print (but we already knew that, obviously).
How amazing is her sparkly blouse?!
What in the world would possess Nina Garcia to come to the small wonder of Delaware you might ask? Marie Claire teamed up with LOFT and Rimmel London  to host the contest, Front Row Challenge, this past summer looking for the most fashionable college students across the nation. One of the four finalists was a UD Senior Fashion Merchandising major, Breanne Palmieri. She was put in charge of executing her very own fashion show with looks by LOFT and hair/makeup by Rimmel London. After the four shows, a winner will be chosen and she will get to intern for Marie Claire and LOFT! Good luck Breanne!

As for the runway looks, they were fantastic! All of the fur, the sparkly shoes, and the autumn colors--mustard yellow, red and olive--were my favorite! Scroll down to see for yourself!
